Rep. Katie Porter Raises Over $416,000 in First Fundraising Quarter in Congress
Surpassing what her predecessor raised during any quarter while in Congress
Today, Representative Katie Porter announced her fundraising totals for the first quarter of 2019. Holding true to her no Corporate PAC money pledge - Rep. Porter raised $416,000 in the first quarter of 2019. Along with her pledge to take no Corporate PAC money, Rep. Porter does not take donations from the top ten Big Banks. The Congresswoman is proud to have the support of so many donors who believe in her commitment to working people and families in CA-45 and all across America. The campaign received over 5,351 individual contributions this quarter.
“I want to thank the many people who believed in me before I came to congress and to those who continue to support me. We have a lot of work to do, but I plan on making every day count- holding special interests accountable to hard working families, protecting and improving access to affordable healthcare and protecting our world for future generations.” - Rep. Katie Porter
Rep. Porter was able to raise more in her first three months in Congress, than her predecessor and former Republican opponent was able to raise in any quarter.
