Standing Up for Workers

Every worker deserves a union. We must create – and enforce – policies that deliver that opportunity. I am never afraid to hold powerful people to account, especially corporations who cheat their workers. That is why I have been endorsed by many statewide labor unions – including ATU, California Labor Federation, CWA, Machinists, NUHW, OCEA, Teamsters, UAW, UNAC/UHCP – which represent hundreds of thousands of Californians. Unions give workers opportunities to thrive and to stand together to demand better from employers. Unions are why Californians for generations were able to buy a home, pay the bills, and raise a family. But that is getting harder and harder today because costs keep going up. As Governor, I will work to drive down the cost of housing, healthcare, and child care for all Californians.
